Sound Therapy

A session involves live sound and guidance from a trained practitioner to enable the client to have a deeper self reflection through talking therapy alongside the personalised sound treatment. This is available for 1:1 clients or small groups. There can be a single instrument or a combination, consisting of gongs, crystal bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, drums and therapeutic percussion . All are played using particular techniques proven to aid relaxation which positively impacts on the body, mind and emotions. Using these methods induces deep meditative states, which have been proven to promote health and wellbeing.

Sound Bath / Group Sound Relaxation

The sound bath is a group relaxation session using sound, it is held by a trained practitioner who provides guidance at the start and end of the session. This involves a short meditation, moving into live sound and a grounding practice to close. There is often a combination of gongs, crystal bowls, Himalayan singing bowls and therapeutic perscussion used.

Movement Therapy

Movement therapy is for people to explore their inner selves through gentle movement, to the sound of drums, gongs, and crystal bowls. The practitioner plays the instruments and the participants have the freedom to move intuitively throughout the session, participants eyes remain closed or gazed lowered, to maintain inner focus.
Using a particular playing method and using a self reflection tool, participants can gain a greater understanding of themselves and facilitate release on a mental, emotional and physical level.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) was developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn. The 8-week stress reduction program is based on intensive training in mindfulness. It was initially targeted to people with chronic health problems, helping them to cope with the effects of pain, illness and the impact of these conditions on their lives. Today MBSR is taught to people throughout the world who are experiencing challenges in all areas of life.
